Road cycling enthusiasts tackle the steep asphalt climb toward Biela P\u00fa\u0165, while mountain bikers explore the trails of the Low Tatras. And for adrenaline seekers, there\u2019s a downhill bike park right in the Jasn\u00e1 resort\u2014one that beginners can enjoy too.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What is downhill?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Simply put, you take your bike up the mountain by lift and ride back down on a purpose-built trail. No long, exhausting climbs. Instead, you get an adrenaline-filled descent at your own pace, tailored to your skills and experience.<\/p>\n

In Jasn\u00e1, bikes are transported by the A6 gondola from Biela P\u00fa\u0165 to Priehyba. From there, the trails lead back down to Biela P\u00fa\u0165. You\u2019ll need a BIKE ticket<\/strong> to take your bike on the lift, but access to the bike park<\/a> itself is free.<\/p>\n

Flow Trail or Sport Trail?<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The Flow Trail<\/strong> is the better choice for beginners. It has a gradient of around 7% and features smooth turns and other elements that let you gradually build up your basic skills. If it\u2019s your first time riding downhill, start here.<\/p>\n

The Sport Trail<\/strong> is significantly more challenging, with a gradient of around 17%, faster sections, and more technical features. It\u2019s best to tackle this one once you\u2019ve mastered the basics. Both trails start at Priehyba and finish at Biela P\u00fa\u0165. Riding a bike down Chopok outside the designated trails is not permitted.<\/p>\n
